Hi there my pc is based upon a biostar ideq 200t i think it is a very good system for the games i play etc the specs are as follows:
Intel Pentium 4 3.4Ghz Prescott 1MB Cache 800FSB Processor
1024MB Dual Channel DDR400 PC3200 SDRAM
160GB SATA Hard Drive
Nvidia 128MB Geforce FX 5900LE Overclocked Graphics Card
Twinhan Mini TER DVB-T Pci TV Card
19'' ACER Widescreen LCD TFT Monitor
Logitech Wireless Keyboard And Mouse
Anyway there's the basic specs not bad for a SFF system eh? i may upgrade to a geforce 6 256mb card at a later date.
Anyway my problem is my processor is constantly at 60-63c this mean that smartfan in the pc is almost constantly on and it's very loud you can hear it when playing game and loud music even. my question is there any suitable fans to replace the fan in the system it looks properity however in the system utility there is a calibration facility for new h/s/f any suggestions i cannot stand the noise thanks i advanced i have rushed this post appologies for spelling, punction and grammar. My Systems: iDEQ 200T, P4 3.4Ghz,1GB DDR400 Dual Channel,160GB SATA,19'' W/S LCD Monitor, IBM Thinkpad R52 What a Machine IBM/Lenovo Rule, Acer Travelmate 2305LCI

You have two problems...
1. you have a Prescott.
2. you have a SFF system. However, 60-63C for a Prescott is not bad at all, especially when you consider it's in a SFF enclosure . Because of the limitations of your system, you *may* have to live with it. But according to this review, the cooling setup is quite effective. Are the settings for the smartfan adjustable?
