well with a IC7-Max3 how would you overclock does it come with a program or is it tweaks in the bios, also what would be the max for a 2.53ghz p4 with a IC7-Max3 mobo. thank you

A serious OCer always does it in BIOS. Abit has implemented a "soft menu" in this mobo BIOS for you to adjust FSB, multi (if you have an engineering sample CPU) and voltages. As for your chip, experiment a little bit and how far you can OC depends on other components of your system also. Frankly, it's a waste to put a 2.53 chip on the MAX3, you should get a 2.4C or 2.6C to take advantage the MAX3 offers.
