Subject: I think i have a CPU problem
OS: XP
CPU/Ram: Dont know
Model/Manufacturer: Dell Model 8400
Comment:
Today As I was unpluging the mouse/keyboard/etc from my computer i noticed a lot of dust on the back of my tower so i opened it up and had some dust inside. So i used compressed air to clean it out. I then plug everything back in. I get 6 beeps which i have yet to detrmine were they coming from. It doesn't start up or anything. About once every 3 or 4 times i've tried to start the fan by the processer starts to run really fast. So i'm wondering if i fried my processer or if its something else entirely. Also the computer is about 3 years old and the processer had died on me once before but at the time the computer was a year old. Dell fixed and replaved the processer along with the motherboard.
