I have a socket 754 AMD64 opteron 3200+ cpu. And use a Foxconn K8S 760MG Mobo. My question is what multipliers does this system use. There is no avenue in the bIOS to change or view...I have the option of changing FSB.It is currently at 220MHz and this gives me 1760MHz. I can assume this is 440MHz x 2 x 2. The specs for mobo quote default as 2 x 800MHz..I really need some clarification...

The standard HTT setting on socket754 boards is 800MHz (1000MHz on socket939). But they work bidirectional which means at 800MHz in both directions at the same time. Because of that it's sometimes name as 1600MHz (2x800MHz).
The original setting for the 800MHz HHT clock is 4x 200MHz FSB on a socket754 board.

For OCing you should know that this HHT Clock is not meant to work much higher than the original setting. If you want to OC higher you may need to lower the HT Multiplier to 3x to make it work!
