Comment:

I have two HP 4150's one with a PII 300 and one with a PII 366. I have seen in some discussion groups that you can upgrade to a PIII 450 mmc2 chip. I purchased one and neither of my 4150's will boot with this chip. They just hang there. do I need to do something else or will this chip just not work or is it bad. It was guaranteed not to be DOA. any help would be appreciated.

IUt that actually safe..i've never heard of that until you mentioned it?

I know if you live in north america and you turn the voltage up to 220v your going to fry your computer.

I've heard of this guy one time that tried it and he said smoke started coming from the power supply.

And later his m/b didn't work.

Relax guys!

I know theres a LOT of questions about overcloking DELL computers. Dell is pissing everyone off I know. Just leave the sarcasm to other threads ok?
