Does anyone know what socket type is in
the HP Vectra 6/266 Series 6 Desktop
Size Computer? I am planning an
interchange.

It could be a socket 7 which will take an AMD K6, K6-II or K6-III
Pentium 1
AND THE CYRIX M-II and M-III also the 868 chips

or it could be a slot 1
which will take a
Pentium II or
Celeron A

The 266 made me think it was a PII 266 or PI but at a strech it could have been a AMD

It is all diffenent to the eletonics i use at Jordan
