this may sound stupid,...but...what is the easiest way to tell if i have multiple processors on my pc? i cant tell by looking because the big fan n all. i downloaded everest and it shows cpu#0 & cpu#1 and in cpu info said cpu#1 2%, cpu#2 2% or whatever, they change. i cannot get performance console to show but only one graph....i was un-aware when i bought it that it may have multi-processors, so i am clueless as you can tell.....

Your Dell Dimension 4600i has only one physical cpu, you have Hyperthreading enabled and that is the reason for the cpu discrepancy.

Whom are you on computing.net?

...and HyperThreading is a good thing. It's two "virtual" cpu's withing one physical cpu.
