Solved how to set up bios

Specs: Windows XP, intel p2/ 2gigs-both
old fart really screwed the pooch. took cpu out to reseat it. tried to put it all back. wouldnt start unless i pushed on the corner. wouldnt boot at all. just fans. WHO KNEW you had to lift the little thimagig lever, then put the chip in! So now, ive removed the batt, unplugged everything, checked all cables.Got an education. now its booted, and im at the bios teritory. at boot configuration, and have no clue. any ideas where i could get settings? is this where you can overclock that i keep seeing? im trying to keep a dinosaur alive as long as me. was going to do a windows repair. just got disc, and wanted to get everything ready. it might be shiny and clean with a new fan, but im already at a standstill.

gateway thrasher 2.40 pentium 4, 8kb cache, 512 secondary cache. 2 gb ram intel circut board. bus clock133mgz. bios-intel SR84511A, 2003 xp pro. typing hard-one hand!

By removing the battery, you removed all the stored BIOS settings. The settings reverted to defaults, including the date & time.

I googled "Gateway Thrasher" & it appears that board is from a 310 series tower. The manual can be found at the following site. Have a look under Troubleshooting > Using the BIOS Setup Utility:
