how do i overclock my computer through bios and does it increase start up speed and umm gaming performance ? or basicly what does it doextacly cuz my friends do theres but idk how to do it so im askin on u guys since they wont tell me
Im lost...

You're not gonna do a hell of a lot with that crappy motherboard. You may be able to jack up the FSB a little bit, but it won't be significant. Hopefully you're using a "real" video card & not using the onboard video.

i suggest 3 things:
1) as jam said, use a decent video card instead of the integrated crap
2) make it PC3200 (400) RAM
3) enter BIOS/CMOS setup, go to something like advanced chipset options or cpu options or something, see waht the setting options are, and post them here. then we can tell you what settings to use.a side note: only try to overclock if you have a good heat sink fan
The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

That board is based on the lowly KM266 chipset & only supports 4X AGP. It only officially supports up to 133MHz(266FSB) & he already has 1GB of PC2700...PC3200 will be of absolutely no benefit. If there's no BIOS option for locking the PCI/AGP at their defaults, consider 150MHz to be the max FSB. Your PC2700 certainly can handle that speed, whether your CPU can is another story. A CPU voltage increase may be necessary & if that's not a BIOS option, you may not even be able to hit 150MHz FSB.
And if you don't have an AGP video card, get one.

okay i have a Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT AGP 8x/4x vid card my mobo has this jumper thing that will let me set it to 100 mhz and 133 mhz so in ad options i can set the clock timing and what not in there if u go to the MSI web site and grab that manual for this Km2m L combo mobo they have deatailed specs on it to inform u guys futher I just dont knoe how to set the timing but i can do it...its just the matter of know what i am doing
Im lost...

The 2400+ is supposed to run at 2000MHz (15 x 133MHz) so hopefully you have that jumper set at 133Mhz. If you have it set at 100MHz, your CPU would run at 1500MHz & would probably be recognized as 1800+.
I'll download the manual & have a look, then post back with some settings to try...

What choices do you have for CPU Host/SDRAM/PCI Clock in the Frequency/Voltage Control menu?

of course, PC3200 would do no good; wasnt thinking...

I've had my 2400+ @ 200x12 before but that was in my superb nf7-s v2.0.
