Dont worry i'm not asking how. To the people who would like to overclock a dell I can tell you how I did mine(it will be diffrent from yours im 100 percent postive of this, but this should give you an idea on how to do it). It's a Optiplex GXMT 5200. What I did was I looked for a speed thing ummm like you will see a row of numbers that go to 75mhz up to 200mhz (in my case) now if i put it on say like 100mhz i'm not making the computer go in 100mhz im actually adjusting the Front Side Bus. Ok so I put it on 100 (these are jumpers by the way, i dont know if thats what they are called fore sure) and now instead of it being 200mhz I now have a 233mhz.

I advise you to make sure you have proper cooling or you wont have the urge to overclock anymore :)

Also say your computer is like mine and is a tower then you will find these jumpers next to the PCI slots and at the bottom of the board, if looking in it while its up.

Ok I cant explain things well here, so if you have questions e-mail me and ill more understand and ill be able to help better.

Yeah, ive got a Dell 4400 P4 1700, 512mb DDR ram, and i want to see if i can overclock it in the future, but the bios is way to restrictive! There arent even any jumpers. Any suggestions on how to 'unrestrict' the bios or overclock would be very helpful
