You cannot OC Intel Board. It would be like asking Intel to send you money.

Buy a P4 2.4C instead of 3.0 and receive the difference in price????

real cool, you give strange answers. If you don't like the questions just ignore them.

I couldn't understand the question either.

Jay, can you restate the question in Standard American English? I have no idea what you mean.

Answer: cannot overclock Intel boards. System monitor utlilities, yes. My brother's office (engineering firm)got over 20+ Intel systems all 3.06 ghz. None can be overclocked.

Jay's English is as good as anyone's.

It is not an OC utility. It is merely a utility for system test. I am an official Intel reseller. Download it, overclock it and PLEASE post your result.

I wish was when I was right I could sound as confident as you do when you are wrong.

It allows only up to a 4% overclock. Not much but better than nothing.

I admit wrong with no problem at all. The utlility is for memory, stress test purposes and not for overclocking.

If you think a utility allows a 4% overclocking for stability check is an OC utlility, well I don't want say anymore.

All P4 will FSB flunctiate 1-3 Mhz mind you. Every board would have this kind of variables in FSB. Intel does not call it OC utlility. You did.

When you AMD guys brag about 60% overclocking is a daily event, to recommend to an Intel guy a 4% fine tuning utlility an overclocking utility is an insult (the word insult learnt from some of you).

Jay - switch to an Abit IC7 or Asus P4P800 you will get a minimum 3 ghz and over. The IS7 is also good and cheaper. This is an AMD forum with few Intel users.

When I went to the Intel conference, "overclock VERY friendly" with a big smile was exactly what you would receive. And I said "people are not stupid". The replied "you'll never know."

If you believe it, that's the day Intel sells unlock multi processors again.
