please help me pleeeeaaaasseeee

You had the Asus A8V motherboard, so it has a VIA KTxxx chipset in it. Those chipset may not have a PCI-E/AGP/PCI lock at 100/66/33. So to overclock properly, lock ur PCI-E/AGP/PCI clock at default, and set RAM to 200Mhz then slowly raise the external frequency of the CPU from 200Mhz up by 5Mhz slowly to see which point is unstable. When you raising the cpu external frequency, make sure you set ur HTT to 4x or 3x so it will not be disturbed (i.e 250x5x2(HTT x2) = 2500 > 2000 = problem, older a64 has 1600HTT)... Another thing you can do would be to raise the vcore of the CPU for more stability, but remember not go to over 10% of the orginial vcore...
TMP-Man
Asus P5P800-SE
P4 506 2.66Ghz @ 4100Mhz 1.525v
Thermaltake CL2042 w/ 2000RPM FAN
1024MB DC Corsair DDR400
40GB 5400RPM/120GB 7200RPM HD
128MB Radoen 9500 mod 9700 @ 360/585

right ive put my external to 215mhz thats its highest i can set it the HTT is set at 400 i cant find the ram setting it not got 200mhz it only got clk how do i alter the vcore settings so far i got my comp upto 2580 from 2406 so it working slowly and my temp is still sitting at a cool 33oc so all good so far so if you can help me with the rest please do
