Hi,
Does someone know what it means "32 Bit Data transfer", in the BIOS settings under Primary IDE master (Sata Disk). I mean it's currently "Disabled". How can I know if I can switch it to "enabled". I'm using a Sata Disk (Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA - ST3120026AS ). (What happens if I set it to "Enabled" and the disk doesn't support it)? I think I'm a little confused.
Thank you very much.
Avi

I would have thought that should be enabled for SATA.

You could however check at www.rojakpot.com

It's an excellent free tweaking guide for all things BIOS related.

Thanx dannyboy,
I don't know neither, and couldn't find it at rojakpot.com. Do you know how can I know it ? What happens if I set it to "enabled" (32 bit transfer) when it doesn't support it ?

Yeah he does.

I just recently built an asus powered computer and had to remedy some bios settings
and i went there and it talked about old school, i scoured the net for 4 days to make sense of the cryptic settings. It's a pain in the neck, but in the end ya know alot more about your system.

But it is extensive to write those, it may be in the works and a thousand thanks to those people that put up those details and guides.
