When i had my comp built the fans were running really load so my comp guy slowed down the fans now it runs at 55-60 degrees celcius and when i play a game it goes to 70. I switched my bios to default and that didnt seem to work? any ideas how he did this? My motherboard is an Asus BD7

Scott, In the BIOS there should be a setting for the fans.... It will probably say "Fan Control" or "Fan Setting" whatever, simply disable anything controlling you fans, reboot and the fans will run at top speed all the time. Your PC might sound a bit louder but it will run cooler.

I looked through the bios and it doesnt have any fan speed controls, thats why i was wondering how he did it. It can monitor fans but none of them are hooked up to the motherboard.
