Copy down the BIOS string that appears on the bottom of the screen as machine starts. (use the 'Pause' key to hold the screen while you copy, then hit enter to continue the boot )
Go to www.motherboards.org.
Use their Mobo ID tools to try to find out what yours is.
No Guarantees, but a good chance of success

Sometimes you can figure out the motherboard by the model of computer it came out of.
The other suggestions are good, too.
