Ok, I'm going to be getting a new comp soon, I am relatively new to overclocking and I have a few questions...
I'm gonna get a K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI and pair it with a 64 3000+
my question is this, I think after reading about this processor, I'll probably want to OC it somewhere around 2.5 ghz stable, but I'm confused about what kind of ram to pair it with, someone who knows more could maybe fill me in, I want 2 x 1gig of ram for my mobo, so 2 gig total, what kind would be best, thanks for any help...
Shiny

I researched this a lot before I bought my new set up and what I've found is that the best ram is good quality pc3200. Like corsair (not value select) and OCZ.
ASUS A8N-SLI
A64 3000+
1gig Corsair XMS
LEADTEK PX6600GT TDH
Enermax 535W
Dual 80gig WD.

I'd say any on this list should work:

Asus A7N8X-X
1800+ @ 8 x 210MHz
768MB PC3200
Asus A9550 128MB/128-bit
Gamer Edition
WinME/WinXP Pro

I have k8n2 plat and geil pc 4000 and can overclock my 3000+ to 2.8 stable on air.
I run it on 2.6 all the time.here is a link to the ram
