Comment: Heya all ! Good day , i wanna just o/c my CPU it's now 1.6 GHz i can set to 18x100 or 20x100 it works but i wanna know for how much can i put up VCORE CPU VOLTAGE ? I use VIA p4xb-ra 1.6 p4 CPU 1gb ram mx440 creative5.1 I'm looking forward to helpful answers.... Bye , Yure

Reply: (edit)The 1.6A (512 cache)is considered one of the best in overclocking. Try not to exceed 1.775 volt. Every processor/setup is different. I don't see how you could change the multi like you described 18x100 and 20x100. You can ONLY increase FSB with fixed multi. Like 16x133, or 16x160.

Reply: (edit)Make sure you have the 1.6A which is 400mhz FSB (4x100), and it is a 16x100 = 1600 mhz. The default voltage should be 1.5volt. It is safe to increase the FSB from 100 to 133 at stock voltage. If it won't boot or becomes unstable, increase the voltage by 0.025 increment. You only need to "play" with FSB, i.e. in between 100 - 166 (example).
