Well, Ive had this problem for a long time.
So, I run a server. It normally uses 15% cpu when its lik 200 players online. Then it doesnt lag /PRIORITY IS HIGH ALL THE TIME/. So, but then the problem comes. When it starts to use like 4% CPU, the server starts to lag, and the players have huge problems to play. So my question is, how otherwise than setting the priority can I boost a programs CPU usage. Cause if it uses 4%, I cannot make it user more anymore. I just gotta restart my comp or the server. How, or waht should I do? Im using e6850, asus p5k, and I got 2gb ram.

the program will just use as much cpu time as it requires, the problem sounds more to do with the upstream bandwidth on the connection which is causing lag.

Okay, well Im hosting a gameserver. I have 1 mb uplaod, which is damn small. Always when the CPU usage of the server goes less than 10%, it starts to lag. So, isnt there any way to make it stay high, anything elset han setting the priority. So, you mean, that the lack of upload speed might cause the low CPU usage?
