There is no display of voltage and cpu temp in my CMOS settings and I was wondering if anyone could explain how to check that a different way?

Im not sure if a PC that far back will have any heat sensing diodes installed on it. But can try and download MBM5 and see if you get any readings. Do a search on google.com and it will show you some links where it can be found. Just type in MBM5 in the search window. Also, another one is Speed Fan.

Good luck!

Dude,

Why do you even bother, you have an OEM system, so much for having any active control over your CPU temperature.

BTW, are you having any heat related issues ?

B4 you criticize a bigger man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, you're a mile away, and you have his shoes.
