Ok.. First of all you need to open the case. When it open take a peek inside and find a little IC "integrated circuit" that should have CMOSS written on it somewhere. Nexzt take it out may need to use a screw driver or something but be careful. Once thats done take the IC and put the pins in a outlet. Next once youve done that take it out and reinstall it. You should have your processer working at maximnum effeciency.

Hi fire, What do u mean by the statement "put the pins in a outlet" could u plz mail me how i can over clock my PII 400Mhz to get a optimized performance.does overclocking a processor have any side effects on the laptop. thankyou, srikanth
