I need to overclock my memory clock, because my FX5200 sucks so bad I want to cry sometimes(my mem clock is all maxed out).
I've heard that there is a way to solder your way to some more Volts, but I can't find anything about it anywhere.

Thanks!

This may help you, at least give you some idea of how to do it.

PS- if you've got the 64MB version of the 5200, and you game quite frequently I strongly suggest investing in a new card!

I would recommend you an ATI Radion 9600 Pro, as It overclocks like a dream.

Oh and read the review too!

This site rocks, the site used to be GoogleGear.com but now its ZipZoomFly.com, they changed their name because of the service and reputation they have with technology. You'd be hard pressed to find a cheaper card and with 2nd day air!

spiff,

I run a lo end card too (ati radeon 7200) but everything else is too...duron1300 and 133 sdram. Dreamfluid has a real machine and I think he should be looking for a mid range card.

Yea, I should have done that. But at the time I didn't have that much money to spend. The RAM was the most expensive thing in my comp.

It feels like a waste of money to buy a new card, again.. Maybe I should wait for HALF-LIFE 2 and go for a card from there so that I know it does well in DOOM 3 too.
(I wonder when HF 2 comes out btw)

Damn, but I probably should try to sell this crap card before it gets too old.

That'll make someone a good card and help pay the freight on a new one.
