Higher memclock w/out artifacts ??

I've got a Sparkle GeForce FX5200 at 355/438. If I go to 439mhz the visual artifacts starts appearing.
I was just wondering if there is a way to o/c the memory clock abit more without getting any artifacts? Has it anything to do with cooling?

Has nothing to do with cooling really. It's more about not enough voltage going to ram on the card. Just like how you would increase the voltage to your ram on your motherboard to get it to run faster while being stable.
You would have to do a vmem mod to the card to give it more voltage. You can damage your card this way, so i wouldn't try it.It involves soldering wires to pins on your card
There's also a voltage mod for the GPU so you can make that go even faster while being stable also. It involves soldering wires to pins on your card.
That's how all the top 3dmark scorers get their cards so high.
My 9800pro won't go over 380 without artifacts, and anything after 395 it crashes. Some people have it up to 412 or higher because of the mod.

ok, thx. gotta try to overvolt then. But this is so wierd.. the more volts I put in to any components of my comp, the more it crashes, so I try to have as little as possible.

The AGP votage in the BIOS does nothing for overclocking, if that's what your talking about.
The only way to increase the voltage to the ram on the card is to do a mod.
