Hello all. I got some really good feedback on my overclocking job. My final concern is my temperatures. I have a zalman 9500 for a cpu cooler and im seeing cpu temps of about 40c and core0/1 temps of 45. This will go to about 55-60 when running prime95 on both cores. Perhaps im applying the thermal paste wrong? Is there a specific way i should do it? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you

Apply an even paper thin layer of paste with your fingers covering the entire surface of the CPU but never on the sides of the chip, then just wash up in the sink afterwards. When still in doubt find the max safe operating temperatures for the CPU also called thermal specifications. Using an aftermarket cooler automatically voids the warranty.

You didn't list the system temp or room temp, but there's really nothing wrong with your CPU temps as they are.
