Comment:

I have a ASROCK K8Upgrade-VM800 Motherboard and AMD64 Athlon 3000+ and also have 2 512MB DDR memory fitted. According to the AMD CPUinfo the max processor speed is 2000 but the processor is running at 2035. I have not made any changes so far. How can I make this even faster. Please help. Thanks

Jase

Drop the HT to 3 and then raise the FSB by 3-5 each time...

My 3000 is at 2.6 Ghz and beats an FX-55 on almost all benchmarks.

And put the ram down to 133.
