Ok, I am trying to overclock via BIOS. I have tried unlocking the multiplier on my CPU, but the multiplier stays at 13x. What else is there to do to unlock it? My MB is fully supportive of the multiplier speeds, and upping the FSB only messes up my programs. Any experience or GOOD websites, email me.

Download WCPUID and see what it says for the CPU family. Can't remember what it says exacly off the top of my head but the newer throughbred core is model 8 and the palomino is model 6 or 7 I think......if you have an older palomino XP2100+ you'll struggle to get much more than 142 MHz FSB out of it without raising the voltage greatly. The throughbred core should overclock much better and at a much lower temperature.

Yeah, well I have the palomino, so I guess I'm sorta out of luck then.
