CPU/Ram: amd2500/pc3200

hi my cpu is running at stock speed (1.8) and im geitng 40c my system is 25c i havent oced it because i need a new fan i have a vulcano 7+ running right now any suggestions on a new fan i have 60$-80$ and if possible why is it running so hot at stock temp?

25/40 for system/CPU temps are not that bad. I'm running a P4 2.6, 800 FSB (slightly overclocked to 2.8, 1.575 v), and my idle temps are around 25/36. Other questions: (1) What kind of fan arrangement do you have to cool your case?
(2) What kind of drive cables are you using? Are your cables out of the way - they can hinder good air flow, especially the wide ribbon cables.

im using those small ata searis or w/e there like | | tht big for the plugin and for the wire portion there | | that big very small serial ata133 i believe
and 1 case im geting new case itsself soon with 5 case fans im a moder in a certain way and when it comes 2 software i never have problems but hardware im a advanced guy but still learning :-P
