i have an asus p4pv-mx mobo and an Intel celeron 2.60 ghz and i wanted it to be overcIocked

I looked up your manual and specs (see below) and your motherboard appears to be a board made for system manufacturers and your BIOS does not have the needed settings to overclock it. It will report the settings but it will not let you manually set the frequency. Sorry. The most you could do for this board would be to find one of the faster P4 socket 478 CPU's that are on the support list (see below) and upgrade your memory to the fastest it supports (PC2100 DDR533) at least 1GB (max 2GB - 1GB per slot) and reset BIOS defaults to read the new hardware. Unfortunately though you will improve your system this way, it will not be significant by today's standards and Windows XP is the latest OS you can run on it. Do not spend too much money on this system, plan on purchasing a new system to get any significant improvements so save the money.
