that is well within AMD's specified safe range but, it may run a little flaky especially if that is idle temp. I have the same setup on the chip and mine idles at 90F and peaks @104F. My board is usually in the high 70's/low 80's. I am using an AbitKT7A RAID board. What HS and additional cooling are you using as you can get it cooler.

That processor should run in the 45 C or 113 F range.

Make sure you have a good HSF and that the airflow in your case, especially around the CPU, is good. Make sure you have a good thermal paste (not tape!) between your heat sink and the CPU core.

May sound a bit stupid - but maybe a quick fix.

I am running similar kit. I removed the side of my case (upright tower) and also pointed a desk fan into the case! I lowered the temp by about 15 degrees C at idle.

I am overclocking a little. Current temp at idle max. is 34 C or 93 F.

Another tip is to polish up the face of the heatsink that contacts the chip with polish (silver or brass) to give it a mirror appearance and then reinstall using artic silver 3 paste - should give you another 2-3 degrees C headway at least!

WB - if removing the side of your case helps then you have horrible airflow in the case. The temp should actually be much cooler with the case fully assembled.

With case open, be very careful.

My cat knocked over a jar of pennies on my desk. Had my case been open, all that copper flying around inside the box could have caused some serious mechanical and electrical damage.

And I’m way clumsier than my cat.
