HDD / MoBo temperature - when too hot???

im really concerned with some system cooling issues: 1.Is there a chance that during normal operation HDD exceeds its max. safe temperature? I got Western Digital 80 Gb HDD and when used its almost too hot to handle. 2. BIOS hardware monitor displays that CPU temp is 51 deg.C (117 F) and system temp is 49 C (113 F) I have Athlon 1.2GHz, and it can possibly take up to 70 - 80 C, but is it safe for the mobo? an is it within norms? and everything is hot - sound card, video card; apart from that, its a hot day :)
The CPU is cooled with a decent fan, and I also have an additional fan for the case (should it better blow the air into the case or suck it to outside?) Thanks.
1. I have a program called "HDD temperature". It's free. Most modern drives have something called SMART...the program uses it to get the hard drive's temperature. You might want to try running it and see what temperature is reported.
2. That temperature is typical for amd. Don't worry about it...although it would be nice if you tried to cool it some more...when you have an amd, you have to be more careful with cooling.
the fan on the case should be on the rear, near the top...blowing air out. (should be right under the psu). Then, when you get another fan after this one, put it in the bottom-front, blowing air into the case
