Ive recently clocked my s---ty Gigabyte GA-7vaxp mobo to 180mhz on the f.s.b but the pci/agp reads 36/72mhz thanks to the s---ty KT44 chipset. Im concerned about the posibility of damage the 64mb-TI200 NVIDIA card and pci cards. Is it possible to lock down the agp using 'resolves' in up to date bios flashing??? Also could someone explain to me where the memory settings are kept and how they are altered?? thanks tosher!

nforce2 is the only chipset that locks the pci no matter what you do.
The kt400 is fast and comes at a good price but it requires you to be aware of things like this.
You do not have a case. VIA is a company that has had many problems before but is now doing a good job of competing for top-dog position against nforce2 at a way better price.
Overclocking has these hazards and you have to know them ahead of time.
36mhz on the pci is nothing to worry about

thanks for the advice mate but in sterling, the nf2 boards are about £20-£30 cheaper than the KT400. Example: Gigabyte GA-7VAXP £93.00 / MSI-K7N2G NFORCE2 £69.00
