Hi guys...i overclocked my AMD sempron 2800+ from 1.61 GHz to 1.92 GHz...but when i want to overclock it on 2.4 GHz..computer wont turn on..anyone having ideas?
Although I've seen reports that the AM2 2800+ will overclock as high as 3.0GHz, I think you might be expecting too much out of your CPU & motherboard. You're apparently cranking the CPU freq up to 300MHz to hit 2.4GHz but what are you doing with the rest of the settings? RAM, HyperTransport bus, CPU & RAM voltages, Cool 'n' Quiet, PCI-e, Spread Spectrum, etc?
