I'm trying to oc my nVidia fx5600, which I had previously done before the last format. Now I can't get any program to work, each for a different reason. Rivatuner: Whenever I check the "enable overclocking" and the detect clock window pops up, whichever option I choose the "enable oc" box gets unchecked and the clocks go to N/A. Coolbits/Nvidia panel: Just doesn't unlock anything. The normal, useless nvidia panel shows up instead. nVHardPage: I can OC, but the "2D Speed" and "3D Speed" circles are grayed out (the 2D Speed one is checked) Am I just very unlucky, or is it something else? nvidia drivers up to date.

I just have, but the clocks stay at 0 and moving the sliders and "set clocks" doesn't seem to do anything for me (they reset to "0").

Probably not, since that was half a year ago.

I reinstalled the nVidia drivers yesterday and today I rebooted my pc. When I loaded a 3D game the PC would simply restart! I opened nvHardPage to see that the clocks had been set to about 20000Mhz each!!! In terror I uninstalled all OC programs along with the NV drivers, then reinstalled the last fresh clean. I guess something's screwed badly, so unless i format I'll just stick to my low fps for a while. Thanks anyway for replying ^^
