I have a PNY verton fc 5600 256MB Ultra is there any way that the FX cards have ability to detect their temperature and for it to be displayed in windows also whats a secure threshold to push them in overclock thanks

yes they can .i use the same card. not sure what drivers u are using.get video drivers from nvidia. on the desktop right click and bring up properties. then go to setting. then advanced. then click on the fx5600 ultra. youll see several tabs now temp is one of them. i also have clock frequecy shown here. i downloaded coolbits. how far can u push them try the auto detect tab. itll give ya a nice oc

thanks do you know if the temperature is supported on both the 5600 and 5600ultra
As i have both each use the main drivers from nvidia.com where can I find coolbits I take it this software unlocks the overlcokcing menu in the advance tab

Yah, the 5600 supports temperature monitoring, with NVIDIA drivers atleast.
