so basically, i install windows service pack 2 over the night i went to sleep. Next day i restart my computer, and on the windows xp window (where the logging accounts are) my mous and keyboard stop working, so i restart computer again, then unpluge pluge keyboard and mouse again (ps/2 keyboard and mouse) so i call a friend he told me to unplog and stuff and the other thing he told me is to take out the CMOS battery so i did and put it back on, now my monitor doesn't show anything it goes on the screen turns black. so now everytime i try to turn on my computer a red light turns on next above the CMOS battery i don't know what it is maybe it's the motherboard please help here is mother board info.

"...i call a friend he told me to unplog and stuff and the other thing he told me is to take out the CMOS battery..."

Sounds like you called the wrong friend. If everything was working until you install SP2, why would you think it's a hardware problem? Since you removed the battery & reset the BIOS, you're gonna have to run thru ALL the BIOS settings & correct them again. What other things did he tell you to do?

It's a Windows problem not your hardware.
