Right now, i am experimenting with fsb jumpers. My fsb is at 100/200 instead of 133/266 and my cpu is running much cooler.
My question is, if i have a cpu with a fsb speed of 100/200 and set the jumpers to 133/266 will it do any damage?

Simply put you are asking if overclocking will damage a CPU. It will shorten the longevity of the CPU depending on how hard it is being pushed and for how long.
BTW....If you are refering to your 2400+ then you are not overclocking @ all because the clock is 133Mhz thus it's 266 FSB.

Well, you didn't mention a specific CPU...I assumed you were talking about the 2400+ as well.
The 950 Duron is locked...therefore, your multiplier is stuck at 9.5, unless you mod the CPU (pencil trick) to unlock it. If you change the FSB from 100 to 133, your CPU speed will jump to 1267mhz (9.5 x 133)...that's a hell of a leap (33% overclock). Chances are, it'll be too much for the Duron to handle...increasing the CPU voltage from 1.75v to 1.85v might help, but ideally, you'd wanna unlock the multi & lower it (maybe 7.5 or 8.0), then raise the FSB to 133 to keep your CPU clock speed at something more reasonable...

Obviously your Duron 950 with a clock speed of 100 MHz has a 9.5 multiplier, if your mainboard has jumpers or dip switches that enabled to you to set it 266 FSB you will be fine as long as you make up for the additional heat with a decent cooling kit.
You need to know that setting the clock to 133Mhz jacks up other things on the board like ram chips and expansion boards as well, but if your BIOS allows you to change the multiplier (I doubt this) then you can do that instead.

If the motherboard "officially" supports 133mhz/266FSB, the PCI/AGP settings will be at their defaults of 33/66mhz...it would have no adverse effects on your expansion cards or RAM...unless you have PC100

Thanks for all the help guys. I set the jumper to 100 and it detected it as an athlon 1500 or something. I forget. I have pc2700 and the board does support 133/266 and 100/200. If i do the pencil trick will it unlock the bios also because I cant adjust anything right at the moment. It is an unlocked cpu before week 39 or whenever. And if I do, what are the best settings for it without requiring any extra cooling? It's currently running at 39C idle and 46C load.

I'm totally confused...what CPU are you talking about now? I thought you were talking about a 950 Duron? The week 39 thing refers to the Barton XP.
ALL Durons are locked...changing the multiplier will have no effect, unless you unlock it. Setting the FSB to 100 shouldn't change anything either...it's supposed to be 100!

In post 7 I was talking about the athlon 2400. Will I need to do the pencil trick to unlock it so I can change it in the bios? And if I do do you think I should buy a new heatsink and fan?

It would be SO much easier if you'd explain which CPU you're talking about...
The pencil trick doesn't work for the 2400+...it's either unlocked, or it's not.
No, you don't "need" a new heatsink & fan...but a lot of people buy them thinking that they do.
The 2400+ runs at 2000mhz...15 x 133mhz...that should be your "base" setting
