I bought a used amilio d-8820 laptop some days ago. The fan are realy noisy! Arg. It goes up and down all the time. Is it possible to change the fan in some way? Any other ideas?

ok hear goes if it not under warantie open her up and lets have a look first thinkg to do is to clear any dust out of the fan use a gud puff of ar out of your lungs now feeel if it goin round properly you will be able to tell it it not ,see if anything is obstructin it if it a 60x60 fan i nto sure i not a laptop man u should be able 2 replace if ya have a old socket a heatsink tes em bot on an old atx power suply if ya have one or see which one looks like it will deliver more thrust another thing you can to is to peel the lable off the faan and put 1 or 2 drops of oil in it dont get thje oli on pc now and stick lable back on wit a drop of super glue or sumthin if teh blades of the fan are touchin the caase of teh fan remove any dust and check the fan rotatin on ists shaft properly and take it off it you can and give it a jolly good clean other than that i not sure
things not 2 do use a hoover use a hammer use a air compressor eat a bakon sandwich while performing maintenence belive anything george w bush says kick your laptop across the room

sorry stop stop for the fan testin that should be AT NOT i repeat not ATX cos u can swich on teh at withoutt a mob and use the 12v connectors 2 test fans nioce
