Hi I currently have a 2200 processor but it is only running at a 900 speed. I think I know why it is because i need to download the flash Bios for the CPU which is the 2200 Centon? It is for a mercusry motherboard, the VIA KM266 Chipset. I have no idea where to dowload this from and Ive really looked hard. Any ideas?

I have no idea what a 2200 Centon is...I've heard of Centon RAM??

Here's a guess...you have an AthlonXP 2200+ which is supposed to run at 1800mhz...it should be clocked at 13.5 x 133mhz FSB. It appears that you have the FSB set at 66mhz (13.5 x 66 = 900mhz). Check the FSB setting, you may not need a BIOS update at all.

If you actually do need to flash the BIOS, you'll need to know the exact make/model of the motherboard, then go to the manufacturer's website & download the updated BIOS file & the proper flash utility.

See if you can find your board on this list, probably one of the bottom two?

If it is a Sempron it will not run, they are 333fsb CPU's, the Mercury like other VIA 266 chipsets only support a 266fsb, period

From what I've read, the Sempron is just a renamed/reprogramed AthlonXP Tbred. For example, the 2200+ Sempron is nothing more than a 1900+ XP, with the programming changed so that it's default clock settings are 9.0 x 166 (1500mhz) rather than 11.5 x 133 (1533mhz).

If a 2200+ Sempron is dropped in a board that doesn't have an updated BIOS, it will be recognized as an Athlon XP. If the board doesn't support 166mhz (333FSB), it's speed would be 1200mhz (9.0 x 133mhz)
