Find the whine

I've got a high-pitched whine that I can't figure out. It is there without the CPU fan and when the HDD is disconnected. That leaves me pretty much with the power supply or the MB.
Details: I've just thrown some new inards in an old box to have as a web-surfer at home. Since I don't need fancy graphics or sounds, I am using an ASUS A7N266 MB w/ onboard video and sound. I have a Athlon XP1600 (which I seem to be underclocking at 1050 until I fix the jumpers). The old case has a 200W power supply and I am running a case fan and a cpu fan. My drive is an IBM Deskstar 120GXP.
I know that this power supply might be a bit light (I've posted another question about that). Could it be the source of the sound? It is really high-pitched and very sensitive to where my head is located -- kind of like the hum from a crt.
