i wana buy a new HD from my bros pc just wana know which one should i buy?
WESTERN DIGITAL RAPTOR 74GB SATA WD740GD 10000 RPM 10K ?
or
WESTERN DIGITAL RAPTOR 36GB SATA WD360GD 10000 RPM 10K ?Or there is somthing better then WD Raptor? i have 74G WD Raptor in my pc & its darn fast !
just wana make sure before i buy that should i go ahead get this or anything faster?

A raptor is a raptor regardless of storage size. Get him the one that will suffice him with his needs. Maybe you should get 1 36 gig raptor now, get a new video card, then buy another one when you have the money and put them in raid 0. The mx440 is not good for gaming so if he does game, I would suggest looking into atleast an ATI Radeon 9800 pro (they are around $200).

WD 10k Raptors are one of the fastest sata HDD's i believe....Apart from SCSI's...
Thats why i've installed a pair in my pc on raid zero.... they really fly..!!!I timed an install on win2000pro ..after main format, it took a few seconds over 5 mins .... !!!! now thats fast..!!!
I agree with BUCKS ... the storage size dont matter..
If you have the funds go for a WD raptor..
