I have a Compaq 2715US. I just reformatted my notebook, and now the fan keeps spinning. I'm not sure which one it is(hard drive or cpu) or even if it has two fans. I fixed this once already, and believe I found it on here. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure if it was the swap file, or what. Thanks in advance, and I hope this is the right place to post this question.

Are you sure it is not going in to stand by when you shut it dawn

and if you are just normally working with it (eg typing or anything) it should be spinning..
