ive just got a fan for my tower....ive fitted it on the back of the case....heres the question....is it supposed to be blowing in cool air....or sucking out the hot air

also the ram speed is set on auto in bios....how do u find what auto has chosen and what is it supposed to be 400 or 333

It blows warm air out of the pc interior.

Air flow needs to enter the lower front and exhaust the top rear. A google search of proper case airflow or a visit to:

What kind of RAM did you purchase - PC2100, 2700, 3200, etc.? You should be able to check the actual speed thru a diagnostics program like SiSoft SANDRA.
