Solved External monitor not recognized after processor upgrade

December 30, 2015 at 23:40:13
Specs: Windows 10

I have an ASUS K55N laptop, and just upgraded the processor from an AMD A8-4500m to an A10-4600m. Everything works fine, except my external monitor. I've tried wiring it to both the VGA and the HDMI outputs, but in either case the monitor reads no signal and the laptop refuses to recognize the monitor. The USB ports work, and plugging the HDMI cable into the laptop wakes the monitor up, but when awoken the monitor promptly declares that there is no signal and goes back to sleep.

The drivers are up to date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Solved. I found a driver I missed and updated it. I feel slightly stupid now, haha.
