Ok I finally got my system up and running. But I have another question.. I went and did a system check on my PC .. I have an E6850 and when I checked what the system shows for my CPU. It correctly shows it as 3.0 GHZ.. but the external clock only shows 333 MHZ.. ok maybe I am not so up on this but isn’t that the same as the FSB.. since the FSB is supposed to be 1333 MHZ.. so am I reading this wrong?? .. thanks for your patience. In the bios it shows 3.0 GHZ with a clock multiplier of 9.. so am I wrong in my thinking??

"External clock" (aka frequency) & FSB ran at the same speed on older systems, but since double-data-rate (DDR) & quad-data-rate (QDR) technology came along, that has changed.
Intel's FSB is quad-pumped, so CPU freq x 4 = FSB. In other words, 333MHz x 4 = 1333MHz.

Googling and READING PREVIOUS POSTING's on Computing Net, the one below states Quad Pumped.
