Comment:

I am just asking for my own personal information. Normally I would have asked on TechTv, but they are no more, so I have to ask else where. By the way, if anyone knows of a good alternative to TechTV (CallForHelp and/or ScreenSavers where what I watched, Before G4 screwed it all up...) please send it my way.

Ok the question:
What is better and why?
DuelCore or 64bit?
and do they make DuelCore 64bit processors?

Thanks for any responces in advance!

George

There are both single core & dual core 64-bit CPUs. As far as I know, all dual core CPUs are 64-bit

Jam is right. There are no such thing as a 32bit Dual Core. All Dual Cores made by intel or AMD are all 64bit.

Does not make any difference. Mac use the same dual core CPUs that are used in PCs its the Intel core duo. Apple is now a PC manufacturer.
