Comment:
i know a bit of a bs-er and he claims to have a 2.4 ghz p4, then he said he had a 3.4 ghz p4 that was dualcore, now iv never heard of a dualcore p4 before so im thinking a pentium m or dualcore, but the sticker on his laptop says p4,its a dell inspiron 5100, he alsso says he dedicated 2 gigs or ram for vid card for gaming, never heard of that being done, and he says he has 4 gigs of ram, but its a fairly old dell laptop, only the xps laptops from dell have 4 gigs, anyways i need some info cuz im very curious thanks
If the pentium is dual core, it will be Pentium D 8xx-9xx... As for inspiron 5100 series, there was never a dual-core pentium 4 CPU there. If he say Hyper-threading, then it make sense... i.e ctrl+alt+del in taskmanager, you see 2 CPU there, but it is virtual for HT...
How can you have 2GB of RAM for video card? Did he meant 2GB OF RAM? The only laptop with 4GB of RAM is XPS from dell with DDR2 memory... I think your friend is nothing but bs...
