hey.
i had a computer with a PCI ati rage 2 in it. the video display took about 10 secs to kick in. i also had an extra APG Ati Rage 2 around the house, so i put it in the pc, and took out the pci card. when i booted it, no video at all. so i put the PCI in, so i could goto in bios and see if APG was enabled. when i put teh pci back in, no video, nothing. i have tried several pci cards, none work. although to begin with a pci was in it, and worked, jus took a whiile to kick in. i put it back in the same slot and everything. i have tried the cards in other computers, and they are fine. if anyone knows whats up with this, let me know? thanx

Sounds like you blew your Motherboard.
You should of check and see if the AGP was ready to go before you placed in the AGP ATI card.
Try a diffrent PCI slot or heck try useing a ISA video card if you can find one and see if it works.

Hello! I'm french and i have nearly the same problem!Could you send mee the driver of the Ati Rage 2 PCI?What is the OS?

Hi Carter, I'm french too.
When replacing a PCI by an AGP card, you must reinstall your OS in order to have it working. Can anyone tell me about ATI Rage 2 performances in 3D, comparatively to a Voodoo 2?
Thnx in advance
