Hi All,

i have a system at work which is one of the dodgy pro1400+ things that are actually Duron 950's. It appears some fool has overclocked it to 1.05 gig, when i try to change anything in the bios the whole section relating to FSB and voltage is locked out, it seems to be running at a daft voltage for such a low speed chip ie: 1.63v just wondering if there is any way to change to voltage to stop the damn thing shutting down every 5 mins, currently it is running at minimal load at 84degrees (HOT).

any answers appreciated.

I think you will find that they are factory overclocked, hence the weird voltage.

If it is possible to remove the HS/FAN then you could reapply thermal paste.

hi
remove the BIOS battery, leave it like that for an hour, then put it back in again. run BIOS and you should now be able to change options in BIOS.

also updating your BIOS 'may' help.
