will i need a special mobo to get this to around 4.00Ghz + on air cooling then eventually put it on water cooling.

also will a different fan (zalman\scythe) not the standard supplied one be beter at cooling?

yes, and you had a go at me for changing my setup, which was also partly your fault for saying the original chosen hardware was s--- then reccomending a new one, in which you then have a go at me

Don't blame me for your lack of knowledge. And yes, the hardware config you originally chose was sh!t...in fact, it flat out wouldn't work! 1st you had DDR2 RAM to go with a DDR3 board, then you had a Phenom II paired up with a board that didn't support it.

I tried to give you a little background so you would make the right choices. I listed the CPUs, board (including which chipsets to look for), RAM & power supply info. But when I said 780G/SB710 (or SB750), you came back with 780G/SB700. When I explained why the SB710 or SB750 is better than the SB700, you decided to switch to an nVidia 8300 board instead. Then you changed your mind again & decided to go with an Intel build. You listed an crappy Intel board with an outdated G35/ICH8? chipset combo, so I recommended a board with a P45/ICH10 chipset. Then you countered again with a P43 board. W-T-F?

And you seem to be cutting corners on the important hardware so you can afford a pretty case with flashing fans, cathode lights & watercooling. Why? To impress your friends?

And now you're blaming me because you're no closer to selecting your hardware than you were a month ago & I won't help you anymore? I hung in longer than most people would. It's time to bail. Good luck.
