Just want to give comments,

As I'v read most of the Q&A in this forum..i found out that most of the computer geeks and high end PC gamers and user disregard Celeron D.

It's a sad thing to know that u tend to exclude ur choice of list in CPU's about Celeron D, which actually performs better in some ways that P4's don't, or other AMD CPU's.

Why don't we love Celeron D's? How sad it is to hear someone hates them.

AsRock P4I45Gv Intel Chipsets
Celeron D 2.40 Ghz
DDR333 512mb ram
40GB HDD Western Digital Geforce FX 256MB/128bit

A Sempron 64 is better bang for bucks than an equivelent Celery 64, Celeron has always been the poor relation to pentium, thats life just except it.

I don't hate anything. Only buy what is better. Too bad Intel got rid of HT Northwood. A 2.4C overclocked to 3.2GHz or 3.0C overclocked to 4 Ghz using Stock Cooler outperforms the new stuffs Intel introduces in the last 18 months.

A64 S754 in the same value segment again performs better than Intel Celeron D.

Bottom line, the informed consumers have better choice.

Celeron D's are cheap for a reason. It's not that people hate these processors it's the fact that these processors are built around a budget so therefor they aren't made to handle a lot of powerful apps.
