Just wondering if anyone has this board or is familiar with it. I am trying to overclock an XP 2600+. The only BIOS setting I see that I can use is the
CPU HOST/AGP/PCI Clock setting. I can only get this reading up to 180/72/36 before it no longer boots. Even then the CPU still shows as 2600+.

With the EPOX 8rga board, I could up the FSB and Multiplier separately and the Athlon XP CPU would show up as a higher rated one (a 2600+ would show as 2800+), but with this new DFI Board I'm not having any success.
The 2600+ CPU is a Thoroughbred 2 chip. Any answers would be appreciated.

Also I can't find a way to determine the temperature on this DFI motherboard. Motherboard Monitor does not seem to have this CPU. Are there any other temp monitoring programs for DFIs

Beware of mainboards like this with no AGP lock, especially if you intend to overclock your CPU, not to mention its lack of temp sensor and other features. It simply is a bad board for overclocking.

Whom are you on computing.net?

If you don't have a nForce 2 motherboard and have the Via KT400 or KM400 chipset, be lucky to get 180 mhz FSB, because of the lack of PCI and AGP frequency lock.

Also, please run a utility that displays your current processor frequency and FSB frequency.
Even if the BIOS still displays the same thing, the overclock likely is working.
